One of the quiet residential areas in Kansai, Ashiya. There is a small but beautiful museum called Tekisui Museum of Art, formerly known as the residence of Kichirobe Yamaguchi, who made a significant contribution to the financial world in Osaka in the early 20th century. This quaint building is one of the representative modern architectures in Kansai which was built in 1932 with a famous modern architect, Takeo Yasui designs. Now, it has changed into an art museum with more than 2500 antique collections which were collected by Kichirobe Yamaguchi.
In the dining room of this historical residence, we will host a special Japanese dinner for two nights only. This event offers a course meal with exquisite seasonal dishes and sushi made right in front of guests. All dishes are supervised by a chef who has served as sous-chef at a Michelin three-star restaurant, and guests can enjoy selected Japanese teas and sake together. Furthermore, the meal will be served with plates collected in the museum and all provide guests special and unique experience.
Enjoy Your Meal
All dishes cater to dietary restrictions and preferences, including halal and vegetarian-friendly options, and they allow every guest to eat meals safely. (Please note that halal and vegetarian availability changes depending on the event date.) Please enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine without concerns about any dietary restrictions.
WELCOME
This event is designed to allow guests to enjoy dinner in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. It starts with a "mystery-solving program" which introduces the history of the building led by a heritage manager to welcome guests. After this program, guests move to the dining room and dinner begins in a relaxed mood.
